There are some things that will absolutely destroy your career.

I don't know that I'll even be able to brainstorm all of them, but this one I'm intimately familiar with.

Waiting for permission.

I used to wait for permission to make any career move. Waited for my boss to agree that I was ready. Waited for my peers to agree that Iw as making a logical move. Waiting for my wife to encourage me and tell me I was good enough.

And it kept me playing small. Afraid to move faster than the permission I was waiting for.

Don't do that.

Give yourself permission.

You've earned that right.

You've got this!
