Hey Dragons!
I'm on week 2 of NaNo and I'm currently sitting at 11,000 words written for Apothecary's Price which puts me at Chapter 6 of 16 done. Technically I had planned for only 15 chapters, but Chapter 5 was over 3,000 words already and adding the rest would have put it at 5,000 words which is over two times the length of other chapters and just didn't need to be that long at all.
I have a lot of catching up to do hopefully this weekend as I need to focus on writing a final paper for my MFA class tomorrow and Saturday before I go to a wedding. I definitely need to catch up on words overall, because next week I will be having a special guest appearance from a little puppy dog that my Mother In Law owns as I will be puppy sitting. So having a puppy, an adolescent dog that thinks he is a puppy, a child, and a cat all in one house will be absolute chaos for me.
