Do You Read Fantasy Romance?

What About With Fae?

On The Desk

I’ve caught up on all of my ghostwriting projects and now I have the freedom to work on my personal projects for the end of the year. Since NaNoWriMo just started, that means I have availability for the first time in a while to participate. I plan to attempt streaming some of my writing each night, or as often as possible so you can chat with me while I write, and if you’re an author yourself get some words out too with me.

My project for NaNo is called Taken by the Kitsune. It’s a fantasy romance featuring Japanese mythology and fae.

Around The Desk

To get my mood right for Taken by the Kitsune, I started rewatching the anime Inuyasha which has a similar feel to what I am writing. I’ve made it through about 27 episodes, so only about 100 more to go. I never realized there were so many episodes out there.

On The Bookshelf

I finished reading a fantasy romance novel from an anthology a while back and at first, I was going to read a grimdark novel. However, I ended up changing my mind and started Legends and Lattes. I’ve really enjoyed having the audiobook to read along with the ebook because I can work on chores while listening and then switch to reading later that evening. I might end up doing the same with a few other books I have the audio and ebook versions of.
