Hey Dragons!
On The Desk
I’m getting back on track with my own writing once again and working on some revisions as well for Apothecary’s Price. As I was reading through, I realized one chapter I only had about 200 words in it and it cut off. I’m not sure if I gave up that chapter because I didn’t like it or if I just never finished it. Either way, I have to figure that out soon.
Wondering what’s on the horizon? Look for next week’s newsletter for the big announcement. It’ll make you all super excited, I’m sure of it.
On the other end of writing, I’ve been playing around with things like Artbreeder and other AI art creations. My most recent creation is for two characters in a future book I’m writing called Taken by the Kitsune. A fae enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance series. I don’t have too many details to reveal about it right now but look for those updates in the coming months as well as my streams on Twitch when I work on the project.
Around The Desk
This week was all about sleep. I’ve gone to bed so early each day and kind of lounged about to read both personal projects and others’ books as well.
My husband recently restarted watching DBZ since he’s not feeling too well and me being a person who doesn’t like DBZ ended up watching half a season with him. I refuse to admit that I enjoyed it.
I’ve also started watching House of Dragon with a few friends. I love grimdark fantasy and love that they’ve continued that with this series as well. It’s gotten me really into the mindset I needed to enjoy the genre all over again. I haven’t started Rings of Power yet, but I’m going to watch the first two episodes on Sunday before House of Dragon airs. So much fantasy on my Sundays.
On The Bookshelf
I’m still working on the previous fantasy romance novel collection, but to ease my eyes at night and not strain them, I’ve switched to finishing Poison Study before bed. That way I can read my ebooks during the day and my paperbacks in my bed.
