Hi

It’s a brand new productive week and I am pumped for the new sales coming in for all of us this week!

But if you are not business ready, how will sales come in? That is why I want show you the easy steps to set up your social media pages in this email series.

Today we are starting with Instagram.

Instagram has become so tedious that a lot of entrepreneurs are fed up of trying harder but trust me, Instagram is the hub of mega sales!

Today, you will learn how to turn your IG page into a sales machine even if you don’t have much followers. (I’m not any IG guru but I sure want to help).

Let dive in!

Your IG page has two sections: the front end (profile/display area) and back end (tools and settings area).

If you are looking to sell, your page must be a business page and not a personal page and it must not be on private.

For the front end which we will focus more on, the most important parts of your profile are: the name, description, highlight and of course the content you post.

The name section helps you get found easily. If someone is new to town wants to buy what you are selling but doesn’t have any particular vendor in mind, their search keywords can bring them straight to you.

The description showcases what you do or sell and your area of expertise.

The highlight, which are the circle shapes right under your bio, gives a summary of your business journey

While your posts are tools for attracting your target audience.

LET’S GO PRACTICAL

Now if you know your page is not doing what it should do, then you need to audit and reset it for better results.

1️⃣ Go to your page and tap on Edit Profile.

Put your preferred name (I used my full name), then add your location and what you do, e.g

Ifeoma Okafor | Cakes in Asaba| Asaba Baker

Or

Rossy Cakes | Best Cakes In Akure | Akure Baker

2️⃣ In the bio, describe what you do and why we should buy from you, what makes you unique, add it there e.g

Best fluffy Cakes

budget cakes in 2hrs

best banana bread in Kano

Or

Best plug for: cakes, pastries, bespoke celebration cakes, dessert table etc

swift delivery mon-sun

3️⃣ Still within the bio, here’s the very important area you must take care of; your link. Add your link at the link section. It can be website, WhatsApp link, or any link that can help you get closer to collecting the money.

If a prospect lands on your page and you are not available, they can reach you or buy from your link if payment and delivery details are included when they tap the link.

Your bio should look something like this 👇

4️⃣ Highlight, this is where you can upload your menu, price list, achievements and other events depending on your niche.

To create a highlight, you upload a picture, video or share a post to your stories first, then tap on the 3 dots at the right lower corner of that particular story and tap on highlights. Give it a unique name and then tap on Add. It will appear on your page.

This is what page highlights look like 👇

To get a uniform cover for your highlights, you can use your logo or create a graphic design on canva, InShot or even using AI. After getting your preferred image, go back to your page, tap on the highlight, tap on the three dots on the lower right hand corner, tap on edit highlight, tap on edit cover, upload the image and save.

, are you getting value?

This email is already getting longer than I expected so I will pause the class here. On Wednesday I will show you how to set up the IG back end of your page for higher productivity.

Let me tell you this, what I have just taught you today, I know coaches that charge 15,000 - 25,000 Naira to handle IG page audits for business owners. Please do not take this free class lightly.

Go right now and implement immediately. When you are done, send me your IG page handle for a final audit to ensure you did it right.

Do you have questions on what we treated today? Don’t be shy, ask me immediately and I will explain further.

I am rooting for you!

Sugar hugs 🤗
