Do you know what happened yesterday   ?

Let me gist you!

I went to my mechanic to fix some parts that were faulty in my car.

This was a new mechanic so I wasn’t really comfortable leaving my car with him so I decided to stay put while he and his team fixed the car.

I watched like an apprentice as every detail was taken care of. Lol

To my amazement, when they bought the new spare parts, he showed me exactly what they purchased, new and sealed. 

He went further to explain to me what would have happened if I didn’t change the old faulty ones.

I even touched one of the faulty ones and noticed that it was so wiggly with only a strand holding it together.

Then he handed over to me the old spare parts to be replaced and asked me to put them in my trunk in case they will be useful on emergencies.

This I have never experienced before! A mechanic giving you your old spare parts to keep. Even my generator mechanic will drag old spare parts with me because they usually do fix those ones and resell to other customers.

This new mechanic even fixed some other minor faulty components that weren’t part of what I paid for.

In the end I left happily only to be surprised yet again by this same mechanic. I received a call few hours later from him asking if the car was working perfectly well and if I notice anything I should bring it back for further inspection.

I was marveled at this because the mechanics I have encountered in the past never calls to get a feedback.

my question to you now is, if you were in my shoes and you needed the services of a mechanic next time, will you go back to this mechanic or will you try another one?
