Hello , 👋

This Sunday's reading is about the Good Shepherd. 🐑 Jesus says, "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." (John 10:11) ✝️

This is a powerful image of love and sacrifice. ❤️ It reminds us that Jesus cares for us deeply and will go to great lengths to protect us. 🙏

You may have noticed that the clergy often carry a staff or crozier. This is a symbol of their role as shepherds of the flock, a reminder that they are called to guide and protect us, just as Jesus does. 🐾

It is fitting that this reading comes just after the election of the new Pope, Leo XIV, who has taken on the role of shepherd for the Catholic Church. ⛪

Let us pray for him and all our clergy from all churches as they lead us in faith. ✨
