How is it November already?!! 

Yes, I'm pretty sure I said that about October too (and will probably be thinking this for the foreseeable future) buuuut seriously…  November?!?!

And with that being said, I’m back in the writing cave (Orion’s Order Book 5 first draft is on and poppin’ y’all!). Which means I have completely lost track of time. Which means I’m totally behind on all the things, including this newsletter (oops!). Which means I’m gonna keep it short this month. 

Buuut that doesn’t mean there isn’t a fun surprise in this one!

PS In case you’re wondering where I’m at with the whole burnout thing… Yeah, this particular capital B is still around and I’m still in burnout recovery mode. But I am feeling a little better (yay!) and will continue with the MIA-perma-airplane-mode-plus-self-care theme song until I’m no longer running on low battery mode. ;)

Sometimes (okay, most of the time), choosing a title is so hard for me. (Not sure if it’s just me? Lol!)

Any whoooo, now you know some of what I’ve been up to lately! Between Caswell Convict cover and Orion’s Order cover, it’s basically an explosion of graphic art creativeness! 

Just like with my writing, I’m not trained in the art of graphic design. I’m self-taught when it comes to storytelling, Photoshop, publishing, and basically all the authory things!

(Can I get an amen for YouTube tutorials? Lol!)

I feel (hope) that each time I try my hand at these things that I get a little bit better too. 

Practice makes “perfect,” right? 

(I put the word “perfect” in quotes because, well, by now you likely know that I have my qualms with the word “perfect”—mainly, that it’s too subjective, unrealistic, and often unhealthy/toxic. Buuut that is how the saying goes as it were lol!)
