The Business Rules Were Never Made for Us—So We’re Making Our Own
Well, here we are—the final email in this series. If you’ve been following along, you already know we’ve been calling out the business world’s biggest lie—the one that says the only way to succeed is by toughening up, shutting down emotions, and playing by a rulebook written by people who never had to juggle all the things the way we do.
But we’ve been flipping that script, haven’t we? Because we know better.
We’ve spent the last several weeks uncovering the truth: the very things we’ve been told to suppress—empathy, intuition, creativity, balance, vulnerability, and nurturing—aren’t weaknesses. They’re the secret weapons that make us better business owners, better leaders, and better humans.
So before we move forward, let’s take a moment to look back at what we’ve reclaimed.
The Traits We’re Bringing Back Into Business
🔥 Empathy – Instead of putting up walls, we connect. We listen, we understand, and we build trust. And trust? That’s what keeps people coming back.
🌙 Intuition – We don’t need just spreadsheets and logic to make decisions. That gut feeling? It’s years of experience, insight, and instinct working in our favor.
🎨 Creativity – We don’t do cookie-cutter. We solve problems in ways no one else can, we find fresh ways to show up, and we make our businesses reflect who we truly are.
⚖️ Balance – Burnout isn’t a badge of honor, and hustle isn’t the goal. We’re building businesses that fit our lives, not the other way around.
💡 Vulnerability – We’re done pretending we have all the answers 24/7. Owning our mistakes and being real creates stronger relationships and deeper respect.
🌱 Nurturing – We lift as we climb. Whether it’s mentoring, guiding, or simply creating space for others to grow, we know that success isn’t a solo journey.
So What Now?
That’s the real question, isn’t it? Because reclaiming these traits isn’t just about reading a newsletter—it’s about actually using them. It’s about refusing to shove them aside just to “fit in” with a system that was never built for us in the first place.
So here’s my challenge to you: Which one of these traits are you bringing to the forefront of your business? Which one are you finally done hiding?
I’d love to hear from you—just hit reply and tell me! Or, if you’re feeling bold, share it on social media and tag me @TMarieHilton with the hashtag #ReclaimFeminineEnergy—because when we own this shift together, it becomes even more powerful.
