September has already been quite the month…

Hi love,
This week I became an International Bestselling Author. Which is still a slightly surreal sentence to write.
On Tuesday, The Dragon Codes: Ignite Healing, Empowerment, and Evolution through Relationship with Dragons officially made its way into the world. This anthology holds twenty-four real, lived stories of transformation through relationship with dragons, mine included. Twenty-four people sharing their dragon connections and the healing, empowerment and spiritual evolution that followed. And within the first days of its release, we reached #1 in five categories across three continents, officially making Dragon Codes an International Bestseller.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've created together. At the same time, the days surrounding the launch have been intense. There has been so much excitement, so much visibility, so many messages and conversations - and behind the scenes, I've been tired. Really tired.
This morning, one of the other authors shared in our private group that she was struggling. Her body was protesting, old pieces around being seen and allowing herself to be visible were coming up, and she did something she normally doesn't do: she asked for support. My first instinct was simply to reach out. If you want to talk, let's talk. Let's see how we can support each other through this.
But later, standing in the shower, my mind kept wandering back to her message. What else could I do? Because she isn't the only one moving through something. I feel it too. And I know there are more of us navigating what it means to suddenly have something so personal travelling out into the world. And then an image popped into my head. My beautiful magenta heart-opening dragon: Ashya.
The Devotion Ritual
I originally created the Devotion Ritual last year alongside She Who Blooms, my Rose Ritual Oil. At the time, pairing the two felt right, even though the Devotion Ritual always felt like it could stand on its own. The ritual carries the heart-opening energies of Ashya and Mary Magdalene and centers around self-love, acceptance, remembrance, devotion and coming home to yourself.
When the image came into my mind this morning, I didn't question it much. I've learned by now that when something arrives that clearly, I'm usually better off following it and seeing where it takes me. And looking at it afterwards from my much more rational, human perspective, I can see why this particular ritual came back into my awareness now.
There is a lot of change happening. A lot of expansion. Visibility. Growth. New things taking shape.
And somewhere within all of that, there is also the invitation to keep returning home to ourselves.
So today I made The Devotion Ritual available as a standalone ritual for the first time.
September Workshops
And strangely enough, this isn't the only way my work is asking to take on a different form right now.
I'm also opening the doors to my home. Literally. There's something very different about inviting people into my own space to explore, learn, create and connect together. I'm genuinely looking forward to experiencing what happens when we do.
Earlier this year, in April, I experimented with offering my first face-to-face workshop. It didn't result in registrations. But the desire to do it never went away. I love sharing my perspectives and seeing what happens when someone takes an idea and starts exploring it for themselves. I love the conversations that happen when we get to move beyond "this is how you do something" and into "okay, but what does this mean for you?"
So I decided to try again.
This September I'm offering three different workshops from my home:
The Dragon Playground |
Working with Oracle Cards for Beginners |
Autumn Equinox Vision Board |
On the surface, these might look like three completely different subjects. To me, they're not. They are different doorways into something that sits at the core of so much of my work: Guiding you home within yourself. Whether we enter through dragons, cards, creativity, energy or conversation doesn't really matter to me. What interests me is what you discover about you along the way.
And there's actually a very personal reason the Vision Board workshop found its way onto the September calendar. My birthday is September 21st, and for the past few years my best friend and I have created a vision/mood board around our birthdays for the life year ahead. This year I'm turning 38. So on September 20th, the two of us will sit down together again, surround ourselves with magazines, images, scissors and glue, and create our boards for our 38th life year. It has become something I genuinely look forward to every year.
People regularly ask me about the boards afterwards - how we made them, what we put on them, what they mean - and with the Autumn Equinox falling only a couple of days after my birthday this year, something clicked. Why not create a space where I can share that experience with others too?
So I did.
Somewhere amongst becoming an International Bestselling Author, creating workshops, bringing The Devotion Ritual back into the world and everything else September has apparently decided to throw into the mix, I've also been rebuilding my website. Because apparently I needed another project. ;)
But it was time. My work has grown and changed, and the space holding it needed to grow with me. It isn't completely finished yet, but it already feels so much more like where I am today - and I'm really enjoying watching all these different parts of my work find their place within it.
That's what this season is asking of me. Allowing things to take up space. Allowing myself to be seen. Opening doors; digitally, energetically and quite literally. And trusting that all these different expressions don't have to look the same to come from the same place.
For now, I'm also giving myself some room to land in everything that has happened this week.
And it feels really good to share some of it with you.
With love,
