Sep 17, 2023 12:29 pm
Hello,
It's Sunday and well it's time for the Weekly Sunday Reset. As we embrace the changing season, we are reminded that change is a natural part of life, offering opportunities for growth, much like the turning of the seasons.
Seasons of Change:
Isn't it fascinating how the world around us shifts, embracing a new chapter? It's a gentle reminder that change is a natural part of life, and it offers us opportunities for growth, just like the turning of the seasons.
Speaking of changes, I'd like to hear your thoughts about our monthly refresh. Should it arrive on the 30th, so you can launch into the new month with a fresh perspective, or a few days before, allowing you ample time for reflection? Your input is invaluable, so please reply with your preference.
Sunday Reset
Now, let's dive into your Sunday Reset. It's a chance to reflect on the weekend, consider your accomplishments, and set the stage for the week ahead. Today, we're enhancing your routine with some new elements.
Your Sunday Reset Checklist:
1. Weekend Reflection: Take a moment to ponder the weekend's activities. What were the highlights? How did you spend your leisure time? Capture your thoughts.
2. Task Management
Completed Tasks: Review your to-do list from last week. Which tasks did you complete? Give yourself credit for these achievements.
Incomplete Task: What task have you started but not completed? What's the reason?
Missed deadlines: What deadlines did you miss and why? Was it because of miscommunication, incomplete materials, poor time management, etc.? State in clear terms why you missed the deadline
Returned work: these are tasks you completed but the client, team leader, or others did not approve the task and asked you to do it again
What can you do differently?
3. New To-Do List: Create a fresh to-do list for the upcoming week. Use this as a master list and brain-dump all the activities or tasks that you want to complete this week
4. Weekly Goals: Reflect on your broader goals for the week. How do your tasks align with these objectives? Adjust your daily lists accordingly.
5. Self-Care Planning: Ensure self-care activities are part of your weekly plan. These moments of self-nurturing are essential for your well-being.
6. "No Matter What" Tasks: Identify tasks that absolutely must be accomplished during the week, no matter what.
7. If I Have Time I Would" Tasks: List tasks that are important but can be tackled if you find additional time during the week. Important but not urgent
8. Then pick one task you must complete on a certain day, no matter what. This could be personal or professional.
Organize these by day, starting with Monday and ending with Sunday.
- Monday
- Tuesday
Continue this pattern for each day of the week, including the weekend.
Monthly Refresh Input: Don't forget to share your thoughts on the timing of our monthly refresh. Your preference matters!
This enhanced Sunday Reset aims to provide you with more structure and clarity for the upcoming week. By categorizing your tasks and scheduling them throughout the week, you'll find it easier to stay on top of your priorities.
I'm excited to hear about your "No Matter What" and "If I Have Time, I Would" tasks, as well as your preferences for the monthly refresh timing. Your responses truly make Routine Ready a community effort.
I wish you a rejuvenating Sunday and a fruitful week ahead!
Warm regards,
