Dear Friends,

Oh, the rollercoaster of life ... it is filled with ups and downs. I love taking time to reflect on the previous year before stepping into the next one. The year FLEW by, and because of that, it is easy to overlook the magic of it all.

I would love for you to hit reply and share with me what yours were!

Here are some of mine.

  1. I started a new job, and change has proven to be precisely what I needed. Sometimes we have to slog through a few less-than-inspiring years (don't get me wrong, there were joys) to land in a better place. Working with the kiddos in this capacity is highly rewarding.
  2. For the first time, I took almost the entire summer OFF!
  3. EPIC and unexpected summer adventure. Ten days in a canoe, off-grid, was medicine I didn't know I needed. It also reminded me to be brave, do things before I am ready and live this life I am blessed ot have.
  4. Family Cabin Fire - We couldn't get up there until late August, but somehow it was saved from fire. Extremely grateful to everyone who fought to save the community! AND, we squeezed in one family visit in late August.
  5. Turning 54. Every birthday is a blessing. I also love how the kids at school act surprised when they ask my age. Ha!
  6. Bathroom reno done. This bathroom was an energy vortex. I had issues with leaks, and every time I walked in there, I felt overwhelmed. Once I addressed getting this done (took way longer than I anticipated... lol), I started moving that good mojo around my home. I have started revamping things for the next phase and want my house to serve the life I continue to curate. I am getting kinda handy, and I like feeling capable.
  7. Great neighbours, great friends, amazing family. Need I say more? My life is filled with tremendous people. This holiday season was really the best in recent years. We bucked tradition a bit to do things that better aligned with our needs. Just because it has always been that way doesn't mean it has always to be that way.
  8. I called 2025 the year of miracles - and I must say a few have been delivered. I am so thankful for that.
  9. I have made a massive dent in my POWER HOUR items - the things I want to get done, but they seemed too overwhelming ... I have added them to a list and tackled them in POWER HOUR slots I had in my calendar. This has created some space that I am really being intentional about using for more rewarding things - lots of walks and time in nature.
  10. I have gotten really good at letting go of things that no longer serve me, and it feels better to fully embrace that without the negative feelings that used to come with that. Endings are beginnings. Beginnings are beautiful. Endings can also be beautiful, especially when you can walk away with gratitude. And, my heart is FULL of gratitude.

Happy Holidays to you all, and as you welcome in 2026, I wish you all the best! Above all, health and happiness, because nothing is more priceless than that!
