These letters have a name

Hi
Last time, I left you with a question.
Free from what?
Before I show you what's inside The Autonomy Code, there's something I haven't told you yet.
These letters have a name.
QuietFOCUS.
Now, I know what you might be thinking. Isn't that a tautology? Surely focus is already quiet?
It isn't. Not the way I mean it.
QuietFOCUS is the silence you need to be able to do what needs to be done.
Think about how loud life is. The notifications. The opinions. The advice about what you should want, who you shoul
d be and how fast you should get there. Even the songs we talked about last time.
It is very hard to make your own decisions in that much noise. Most of the time, we don't notice the noise is deciding for us.
You can't hear your own answer to "free from what?" while everyone else is talking.
That's why autonomy needs quiet.
And I want you to hear this part clearly. QuietFOCUS is not about being perfectly productive. You don't need the perfect system or a colour-coded planner. You don't need to have it all figured out.
You can come in imperfect. Not knowing how. Just being.
It is hard to be quiet in a noisy world. But we figure it out together.
So what does The Autonomy Code actually look at?
Five areas of life. I call them pillars.
Identity: yourself.
Message: your voice.
Strategy: your direction.
Resources: your capacity.
Relationships: your circle.
In my next letter, we'll start with the first one.
Until then, find a few quiet minutes. Put the phone down and ask yourself one question.
Whose voice is loudest in my decisions right now?
DK
