Confession Time
Most social media stresses me out. Like to the point where I see the icon without clicking on it and I get totally overwhelmed and I have to distract myself with other things until I can just look at it again. I think a lot of it is because I'm an introvert by nature and certain platforms are as draining as being in a room full of people all talking to me at once.
The weird thing is, Twitter seems to be the exception. I find it easier to lurk on that app and read all the mess, learn all the stuff, and laugh at all the jokes.
So color me surprised when Twitter of all places sucked me into a fandom I never thought I'd join, The Walking Dead. When I tell you from the first to the last and all the spin-offs in between, I was like, pass, I'm not understating my disinterest. I'm not a zombie girlie, and although I don't shy away from explicit descriptions of the type of violence my mafia baddies engage in, I'm not a fan of visual and aural gore (I'd rather keep that in the books). So when the Richonne ship kept coming across my timeline and I saw the BWWM, I was intrigued. Can't lie.
But there's a reason why their shipping sucked me in. Their vibe screams Sansone and Zakiya. I mean, look at them.
The chemistry. The yearning. And, as you know by now, my leading men fall first. So when Sansone puts in the work to convince Zakiya they belong together... 🧑🏾🍳💋
So yeah, I've been getting my ass in trouble because I started binging this while I'm trying to finish Sansone's story. I truly need help with my impulse control. Are you a fan of TWD or do you only watch for this couple? I'm dying to know your thoughts because I'm all in on them.
