Y’all know what’s new. I just came back from an awesome weekend in New Orleans. Swirling the Big Easy was my first reader signing event and I can’t tell you how much fun it was. Thank you to all my readers who came and supported me with your words of encouragement.
Leading up to the event, I was experiencing some major self-doubt. I thought I would be an unknown author in a room of amazing ones. Then people recognized me and the books I wrote and my ass was on cloud 9. Nobody couldn’t tell me nothing. I was fangirling. I was chatting everybody up like I’m not an introvert. Hell, I was partying with readers like I’d found my age papers (then my body reminded me exactly how old my old ass was). Did that stop me from having more fun times in the Crescent City? Hell nah!
If anything, I’m guaranteed to go back in two years.
And although I’m terrible at remembering to take pictures, I managed to snap a few. Keep on the lookout on my Instagram and Facebook for more photos. For now, I’m working hard to give you the next thing.

What’s next?
This year is going so fast. I’ve had to review my publishing schedule and tweak when the books will be released. I’ll fight hard to stay on schedule, but I’m not gonna lie. Things will be difficult. Pray for me and my upcoming sleepless nights.
