I seem to have skipped the month of April entirely. I've been busy with KDWC (King's Daughters' Writing Camp), babysitting my nieces and nephews, trying to write, teach, and many other things. It was a very full month. And now here we are in May! But I'll try to keep this short.

I mentioned last time about being a part of A Very Bookish 4th of July. Let me just say that story was so much fun to write! It was almost written in three weeks and I was almost at the maximum number of words. My story is titled Lessons from Liberty. I can't wait to share it with you all! But we need some help. We are looking for some people to be a part of our book's launch team. (I have gotten to read every story in this book and I liked each one.) Each member gets to read one of our stories before we release the book! Is that exciting or what? What are you waiting for? Go sign up HERE!

Okay, I have been working on Phil Wood. It has been a bit slower than I had hoped this month, but that's probably partly due to everything else that's been going on. But it's getting there.

imageNeed another book? I did get one of my short stories published in a collection with a dozen other writers from KDWC. The collection is called Anything. Yes, I know, that's a strange title, but now I can say I've written Anything. :) It's our first collection. We are currently working on another collection, but the new one won't be out until fall probably. Don't you like the cover? If you want, you can get a copy HERE.

Do you have any book news to share? Any recommendations for books that are on KU? I have a two month subscription at the moment and would like to make full use of it.

P.S. I'm told the subject for this email was an A+, but I want to know if it captured your attention. Reply and let me know.
