New Book, Upcoming Books, and a Book Party

If you've already gotten this, sorry. There was a glitch in sending it out the first time.
Good morning!
Happy September! I had good intentions of writing a newsletter last month, but as you may have noticed, that didn't happen. I'm not even sure where last month went, except watching a lot of Little League baseball, but here it is September, and I need to catch you up on a few things.
If you follow my blog, you probably already know that Don Wood is officially out in the world and ready for readers.
Could all these troubles be part of a bigger plan?
Don Wood and his family are enjoying a peaceful spring on the Woodbreak ranch. That is until a mysterious horse suddenly appears in one of their pastures. And a string of accidents injures several ranch hands. And a column of smoke begins to rise from an unused portion of the property.
As the strange happenings pile up, Don can’t help wondering if they’re all connected. But if so, how? And what do they have to do with the sullen young brother-in-law who seems to be heading for trouble of his own? Can Don and his family trust God to guide them, even when His ways are most mysterious?

Also on the writing front, I reached the end of Lawrence & Lenexa. It is now waiting for its synopsis, and for a cover. I am planning on designing the cover, but right now I have no idea of what to do for it. You can be praying for an idea that works. I've tried 5 different things and none of them were right.

We'd love to have a few more people helping us promote A Homewood Christmas.
If you are interested in helping us promote this book either by reading and reviewing one of the stories, or by sharing about it on your blog, Goodreads, or other social media account, we'd love to have you! Just fill out this form HERE, and we'll get the info to you as soon as it's ready. And just a note: you don't have to have a blog to help promote it. And you don't have to sign up to read and review any of the stories.

Now, lest you think that's all, I have an invitation for you!
If you've been around here for a while, you probably remember the Five Fall Favorites blog party that I've hosted on my blog for the past six years. This is still the Five Fall Favorites with lots of books being recommended and even some free books (hint: one of my books will be free one of the days), but I won't be hosting it. I decided I needed to step back from it, but Kate, the one who is the co-founder of the original Five Fall Favorites, is taking over again. And I plan to attend.
If you have a blog and might be interested in being a part of the FFF, fill out THIS FORM. It's a lot of fun! And even if you aren't a part, I hope you'll join the fun and attend it!

I think that's all the news I have to share. On the writing front, I'm working on 4 different stories. One is this year's Christmas Collection story, two are novels, and one is . . . well, I'm not sure how long that story will be. It's one that just jumped into my head at the end of writing camp, and even though I hardly wrote anything in August, I'm already around 7k words for this story. Now I want to go write!
Well, happy National Read a Book day! What book are you reading? I'm rereading Left to Die by Hailey Rose.
