Happy Monday!

The sun is shining and most of our snow has melted by now. We don't get a lot of snow here, and when we do get snow it's not usually very much, so I try to enjoy it. I went out for a walk with my best friend on Saturday when it was still snowing. Everything is so quiet and lovely when the snow falls.

Have you have any snow yet this winter? Are you someone who stays inside with blankets and books when it snows or do you like to get outside and enjoy the cold? Let me know. I like doing both. And the more snow we get, the more I am inclined to get out in it.

A quick writing update:

December was not a great writing month. I did get a little written, but not much. This month, however, has been a different story. I have written every day (except Sundays) for two weeks! And not only that, but I've been writing over 1k most days last week. This secret project story is really coming along!

Of course I can't work just on one story without some new story hopping into my head and saying "Write me!" But thankfully, the new story has been less demanding than some and has been content to let me just write a little bit on it here and there without taking over my writing life. (Thank you, Story!)

After I finish "Secret Project" the next story on the docket to get worked on is . . . Lawrence & Lenexa. Are you excited?
