I'll be opening the evening with the Makers of Dreams — a story from Skye, passed to me by David Campbell, whose name some of you will recognise. It's one of my favourite tales for telling and one that relates specifically to the themes of the tradition, mentoring, and the old magic that is passed down through story.

There will be some discussion around tradition, lineage and carrying stories well. It should be a grand way to spend an hour.
