"Silence her!" Those are the words that ring in the thickness of the atmosphere from the executive boardrooms, political arenas, religious institutions, homes, and the streets throughout the world, as if there is no value in the words that are released from the woman. They are not spoken out loud in some places. Yet, in others, they are very vocal, but in either case, the stench of it is ingrained in the minds and hearts of men and women alike. Statements are made very boldly through decisions that say, "I would not work, join, or support businesses, ministries, positions, and more because a woman leads it." Her capacity or capabilities to lead effectively are never considered. It's just another case of gender disparity. Therefore, many have worked hard to put women on mute without realizing they might be the ones who hold the solution to the problem they cannot solve. I can only imagine the impact and influence that could positively transform lives and save nations if they could take a moment and look beyond the fact that the one with the solution is a woman, if they would only allow her to release her sound, consider her thoughts, and enable her to operate in her wisdom, skills, and abilities unapologetically. ⠀ Oh my, look at where the oppression of the woman's voice has gotten us. In the silence of anguish, women have had to watch businesses fail, religious institutions destroyed, political injustice prevailed, and lives utterly ruined because she dares not speak.
