My FAVE reusable party decorations

Hey there Mumma!

How are you?? I'm enjoying the beginning of the wildflower season here in Western Australia. Where I live, this season is called Djilba by the local Whadjuk Noongar people.

Coming into warmer weather (soon hopefully!) gets me thinking about parties and celebrations. Not to mention nurturing our beautiful environment by reducing our own impact on it! An easy way to reduce the waste from your next party is to choose reusable decorations. We have a stash that we've been reusing for my kids parties for the last five years.

Here are my three FAVOURITE reusable party decorations:

Number THREE: Party backdrops that you can hire from your local party kit business or other party hire business. The beauty of hiring a backdrop is you get a big, effective display of your party theme that can also double as a photo backdrop. Plus, when you hire and don't buy, you are reducing the amount of party "stuff" that is discarded to landfill every year...

Number TWO: Reusable fabric bunting. I love the whimsical fun that a cute fabric bunting can bring to your party. Plus, these can be made out of scrap fabrics or thrifted fabrics and reused at parties over and over again!!

Number ONE: Reusable paper honeycomb balls and fans. Perfect for a pop of colour, we have several of these little beauties that were gifted to us via out local Buy Nothing Group. If you're wanting more of a big splash of colour, look at hiring a wall of these gorgeous party decorations from your local party hire small business. The other fabulous thing about these decorations is they are fully recyclable once they are no longer able to be reused (eg if they are badly damaged).

How do you like to decorate your parties? Drop me a reply and let me know!!
