Hello!
Welcome to your weekly eco party email from Print Quirks!
When you are organising a party, what is one of the first things to go on your shopping list? Perhaps its extra food. Or it could be a note to set side money for party entertainment. Maybe its disposable plates, cups and cutlery??
What if there was a way to completely avoid having to buy single use plates, cups and cutlery? What if you never had to buy ANY of those things ever again! Sound too good to be true? Enter the Party Kit Network!
The Party Kit Network is passionate about helping to make parties more sustainable. Founded by Isabel Mack in 2019 in the UK, the network launched in Australia in 2020. In 2021 it opened up membership to party kits from any country.
The network aims to prevent tonnes of plastic and paper partyware entering the environment by supplying party organisers with an alternative, while raising awareness that reusables can be easier, cheaper and a lot more fun. Each of of the party kits are run independently by individuals from home, small businesses, school PTAs and community groups for the benefit of their local communities.
Generally, party kits contain reusable tableware like plates, bowls, and cups.
Many party kits also include reusable decorations, table linen and more! If you head on over to the Party Kit Network website you can find your closest provider and get in touch to find out what they offer in their party kits.
Wave goodbye to rubbish bags filled with discarded plates, cups and utensils. Hire a party kit for your next event!!
Ciao for now,
Michelle
