This is one of my current reads. I'm not quite sure how I feel about this one. I Like that the MC is Jewish appreciate the rep, but also....why is it that the only Jewish rep. is money lenders with rich grandparents? The plot literally revolves around this fact although I find it interesting that the dad is too generous to be a good money lender that subverts expectations a bit. As a Jewish person, I did like they show her dealing with the Antisemitism and observing the Sabbath so that was interesting, but any element of her being Jewish is very surfact lvl. and she's often stereotyped.
