Investing in the US stock market offers a higher return but also comes with bigger risk; if you buy great stocks, you will make money in foreign currencies but if you invest in the wrong stock, your capital can go down fast.

I have made more money investing in US stocks than trading.

While both are good strategies, I consider investing profitable because you can hold a stock for a longer period, ride market volatility, and make money from share price appreciation and Naira devaluation.

After all, it's been that your chances of making money in US stocks increase if you hold shares in a good company longer, according to Warren Buffet.

Between 2023-2024, I made a combined return of over 200-300% on Netflix, Meta and NVDA stocks, price appreciation and exchange rates.

My decision to invest in them had nothing to do with their popularity but because they were undervalued growth stocks.
