Dear friends,
Our recent machine knitting tutorials on the LK150 knitting machine. If a technique can be done on an LK150 knitting machine, it usually can be done with a metal bed knitting machine such as a Brother or Singer.
LK150 Circular Knitting with a Nylon or Cotton Thread (knit as you go)
The LK 150 knitting machine does not have a Ribber, so we have to find an alternative to knit a circular tube.
Adding an I-cord edge and seaming up the checkerboard pattern on an LK150 knitting machine
Add a simple I- cord edge on a knitting machine (LK150), and finish seaming the checkerboard pattern from the previous video.
Continuous Checkerboard Machine Knitting Tutorial
By binding off and rehanging each square, you can knit a continuous checkerboard pattern without cutting the yarn.
Different ways of picking up stitches and hanging them back to the needles will decide the direction of the stitches.
The S curved line - machine knitted stitch with hand manipulation
This S curved stitch with open background is simply done by transferring stitches and using the out-of-work needle positions.
You can knit 4 stitch repeats with a single curved line, or 6 stitch repeats with double curved lines.
Make it curve in the same direction, or curve symmetrically for a stronger graphic.
Hope you enjoy these videos and happy knitting!
