Dear Readers,
It's snowing!
Kansas City got SLAMMED with a lot of snow this weekend! I was planning on maybe one or two days at home, but I just got the message that school is cancelled again tomorrow! The roads are still pretty icy and crazy, so I'm trying to stay home as much as possible. I wandered out today for the first time (for a doctor's appointment), and am otherwise staying home.
How are you? Did you get snow this week?
In writing news, I am so excited for you to read A Kiss of Wrath and Magic. This is the fifth Sweet Nightmares book and will be coming out next month. It's releasing on February 13th, which is the day Jack and I had our first kiss! (This was many, many years ago, back in 2004!)
This story is spicy and fun, and it follows Violet. In case you haven't read Book 4 (The Vampire King), I don't want to give away too many spoilers, but I think you'll enjoy this one.
I'm also gearing up for my LAST semester of graduate school! In May, I'll graduate with my M.A. in English - Creative Writing. This has been such a fun, complicated process, and I am very grateful for the people I've met on my journey, but I'm also excited for what comes next. I've learned a lot, and I hope my writing reflects some of the cool, new things I've discovered!
Later this year, you can expect a few things from me:
-The final book in the Owls of Rawr County series
-The final two books in the Grimalkin Beasts series
-The final book in the Never Kiss an Alien series
-The FIRST book in my new dragon shifter series, Dragon Double Crossed
-The final book in the Dirty Little Billionaires trilogy
