How To Put Life On Easy Mode
Welcome to Conscious Culture, a newsletter full of interesting reads for curious, intelligent people who want to sharpen their minds
Thank you for being here.
I hope you’re having a great week.
It’s week two of the Solidity Bootcamp, and it’s already off to a doozy. This week so far, we've learned how to create our own tokens. Right now, we’re doing an NFT shop project. Pretty exciting stuff, but it's intense.
There's a lot of technology, and processes for me to understand. For example, we’re using typescript, and solidity as programming languages, running a lot of tests using TDD (test-driven development) methodologies, and getting familiar with all the packages and 3rd party tools that go into creating a smart contract, like hardhat, ethers.js, Open Zeppelin, and the testing frameworks - we’re using mocha and chai.
It’s a lot, but it’s so fun! I’m excited about learning more and seeing what I’m able to create when the course is finished.

This week I’m sharing articles on:
- How people think
- How to put life on easy mode
- Nobody wants to evolve
- Adjacent knowledge is useful
Feel free to hit reply and let me know what you think.
“You don’t have to do anything different to live life on this easy mode. That said, here are some things I’ve found to make life so much easier — there might be a lot here, but think of these as ideas you might try one at a time.”
“We are swayed by complexity when simplicity is the real mark of intelligence and understanding… Simplicity is the hallmark of truth— we should know better, but complexity continues to have a morbid attraction.”
“Despite the fact that evolution leads to increased stability over the long-term, nothing wants to evolve because it means sacrificing stability in the short-term.”
“Knowledge that is different - but not too different - tends to be most useful for innovation.”
“The comprehensive educational resource on blockchain development with the most useful tutorials across the web3 ecosystem. Partnering with a16z, Alchemy, Polygon, Pantera, Chainshot, Offchain Labs, and many more.”
Tools and Resources
“Search for a term and get the oldest results on the internet.”
“Explore amazing tools, stock images, illustrations, colors and many more things”
“Saving the world one color at a time!”
