Promote Your Virtual Event Like a Pro!
May 20, 2024 1:05 pm
Hey ,
Last Friday started off with me sending everyone the wrong Zoom link to our Virtual Summiteers Peer Group meeting. One of our members figured it out and told me 15 minutes after. I then sent out the Zoom link we were actually using 😅 This might have been the 2nd. time I've done this. Hopefully I've learned my lession now.
Anyway, We talked about Event Promotions!
I asked if everyone was using LinkedIn Event Pages? They all said: No👎
Most everyone were using their website. 2 of our members use Eventbright, they both had great things to say about the platform. Like Eventbright already has an audience!
A shared screen, a Google Doc and a live LinkedIn event page later we went over Chat's suggestions for a "High Converting LinkedIn Event Page"
Turns out I don't follow directions so well.
🤷 Oh well, hopefully lessons learned🤞😅
Lessons Learned:
- If you ask Chat for a LinkedIn formula for a High Converting event page,
use it.
- Be yourself, write ✍️ your own copy. Don't just take Chat at his word or better yet. write your own words then ask Chat to check it out, then still edit what he said.
- Use images that go along with the theme of the event
- Keep titles short and to the point 👉 same goes for the description.
Some members ask about doing a LinkedIn Live or a LinkedIn Audio exclusive.
I told them that I would ask the group. Let me know know your thoughts on this please?
Well, you're all caught up for now. Hope to see you one or more Fridays for a meeting, soon!
*Keep Moving Forward!
