Mar 30, 2026 11:06 am

Hey ,

It’s officially happening and it’s shaping up to be a GOOD time! 🙌🏾 Here’s everything you need to know from our latest reunion planning meeting so you can come ready, prepared and hungry (because… yes, food is involved 😄).

🎉 Reunion Weekend Overview

Friday Night: Meet & Greet (Kickoff!)

🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

📍 Location: Emma Washington Backyard (Baba's house)

We’re keeping it simple and social—this is all about reconnecting, laughing and getting to know each other (especially if it’s been a while 👀).

Food vibe: Light + easy

Think sliders, meatballs, deviled eggs, pasta salad, chips and drinks.

Bonus: We’re adding icebreakers so nobody’s stuck in the “now who is that again?” phase all night.

Saturday: Field Day + Cookout

🕑 Time: Around 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (final time coming soon)

📍 Location: Natasha Collins house

This is our BIG day—fun, games, food and family energy all in one place.

What’s happening:

  • Field day games (for kids AND adults 👀)
  • Bounce house + water activities
  • Space to relax, eat and hang out

Food lineup (aka come hungry):

  • Grilled chicken, ribs, burgers, hot dogs
  • Baked beans, potato salad, mac & cheese
  • Lemonade, water and more

👉 We WILL need help setting up and cooking, so be ready to jump in if asked!

Sunday: Church + Optional Family Meal

⏰ Time: Around 10:00 AM (TBD)

📍 Location: Rock of Ages Baptist Church Dianne Goldsmith home church

After service, we’ll decide if we’re eating together or heading out separately.

💰 Reunion Dues (Important!)

To make sure everything runs smoothly (and nobody’s pulling out their wallet last minute 😅):

  • Ages 2–6: $10
  • Ages 7–12: $20
  • Ages 13–18: $30
  • Ages 19+: $50

📅 Deadline: July 25

This helps us finalize food, activities and overall planning—so don’t wait!

🎓 Scholarships & Graduations

We’re continuing to celebrate our students 🎉

Who qualifies:

  • High school graduates
  • College students (yearly support)

💡 We’re ALSO exploring ways to recognize younger students (elementary & middle school transitions) with gifts or supplies.

📢 IMPORTANT:

If your child is graduating, YOU must let us know.

🗓️ Deadline to submit names: April 30

🛍️ Family Businesses = Bring Your Stuff!

Got a business? Side hustle? Creative products?

Bring them!

In 2025 we had jewelry, handmade items and more and it was a hit!

This is your chance to:

  • Share your work
  • Support each other
  • Make a few sales 👏🏾

🙌🏾 Final Notes

We’re building this reunion together—which means:

  • Participate
  • Pay dues on time
  • Volunteer where you can

Last year taught us a lot… this year, we’re coming back more organized, more inclusive and way more fun!

If you’ve got questions, ideas, or want to help out—reach out!

Let’s make this one unforgettable ❤️
