{{contact.first_name}}, Get Your Tasks Completed As Early As 8 am!?

May 06, 2024 9:00 am

Peace be upon, !

I know. Your brain is thinking about the caption, right? 🀭

Don't worry, you can do it.

And it's the simplicity of doing this that is fascinating.

Are you ready?

I’ve shared this process several times and it doesn't get old.

Use this simple process of hacking your productivity to the maximum.

To be successful, you need to keep things as SIMPLE as possible.

It's a 4 step process that goes thus;

  • Brain dump all the activities or tasks related to your goal on paper. It can be your planner or journal. I love to do this on my daily planner, in a notebook, or as my intuition directs. Do this on the weekend in readiness for the new week. I do mine on Sundays most time.

  • Ensure you do not go beyond 14 tasks for each week so as not to overwhelm yourself. Now, prioritize these tasks from the most to the least important. Let the most important ones be at the top of the list. You can see that the planner picture I shared above has prioritized the tasks using A, B, and C.

  • When you start your week on Monday, do the first 2 MITs - Most Important Task first and start as early as 5, 6, or 7 am. By early or late morning depending on the type of tasks you're engaged in, you should be done by that morning. This gives you the confidence and calmness that you've tackled your MITs for the day! πŸ˜‰

And going back to the Sunnah;

It was narrated from Sakhr Al-Ghamidi that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:

"O Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings (i.e., what they do early in the morning)." (Hasan)He said: "When he sent out a raiding party or an army, he would send them at the beginning of the day." He said: (1) "Sakhr was a man engaged in trade, and he used to send his goods out at the beginning of the day, and his wealth grew and increased."

  • Repeat step #3 throughout the week where you pick the next 2 tasks according to priority and do them through Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Doing 2 items on your list daily amounts to the 14 tasks you brain-dumped at the beginning of the week.

This sounds super simple, right?

What do you think? Are you going to try the process out this coming week?

Send me a response if you're going to try it out.
