Peace be upon you,

A study by the University of California found that taking short breaks during work can significantly improve productivity. Participants who took short breaks every 90 minutes reported higher focus and efficiency compared to those who worked continuously.

I learned about taking breaks in between tasks a long time ago using the Pomodoro technique. I even included it in my weekly plans to take a breather.

Sometimes, when I was so focused on what I was doing, I would get engrossed and forget to take a break until I realized it.

Not taking a break has a negative impact on my thought process, making me feel sluggish and taking longer to complete a task.

Applying some of these techniques makes me more productive compared to not taking breaks.

I will be sharing more of these techniques for your day-to-day activities as a busy woman professional in the forthcoming webinar on Thursday, 27th July 2023, in a dedicated WhatsApp group.
