day 27

Hello, Productive .
Incorporate short breaks into your schedule to recharge and maintain mental clarity.
โStudies have found that breaks can reduce or prevent stress, help to maintain performance throughout the day, and reduce the need for a long recovery at the end of the day. A study by Korpela, Kinnunen, Geurts, de Bloom, and Sianoja (2016) found that taking lunchtime breaks and detaching from work, increases levels of energy at work and decreases exhaustion. Furthermore, one year later it was found to increase vigor and increase energy levels over time.โ
You can get so engrossed in work when you're in the flow. However, to ensure youโre not exhausted before the working day ends, you need to create time for breaks according to the studies above.
I take short breaks to read or watch something on YT or an entertaining video. This helps me to relax and look forward to finishing my work day strong.
