I'm sending this email to you (and your eight fellow filing graduates) because I wanted to send you a quick note about The Filing Project.

But firstly, let me give you a bit of background...

I've really wanted to offer The Filing Project (and I have some other ideas as well) to a wider audience.

So with the guidance of a course I did, I created the free 2023 Genealogy Research Planner and did some Facebook advertising to incentivise people to join the FB group - so I had more people in my orbit.

Well that's gone gangbusters!

As of right now (Friday 24 February at 5pm) the planner has been downloaded a whopping 3,571 times and about 60% have joined the group!

Honestly, this has been truly amazing because it's proved to me that lots of our genie friends are very keen to get organised.

So, Part A of the plan worked really well! However...

I didn't actually have Part B mapped out at all - 1. because I didn't really know what I was doing (ie Facebook advertising etc) and 2. what the reaction to the planner would be.

But alas, I've now figured out Part B (well at least some of it!) and that's why I wanted to email you.

The plan is... I'm going to run The Filing Project again as a beta course.

I want to let you know this (before anyone else) for a few reasons...

• You're one of the lovely genies who trusted me and joined the Pilot Program - and that will always be special to me
• I'm going to run the program again like I did last year via live Zooms, and the hub will again be The Filing Project FB group
• Which means, you're going to notice lots of changes in the group as I delete the 2022 content - and I wanted to give you forewarning
• But most importantly, you'll see all the 'behind the scenes' action because you're my honorary guests for this year's The Filing Project!

It's entirely up to you how much you participate, but I wanted to offer this to you in case you wanted a refresher, or you're stuck in some way and need a bit of extra help.

Given this is another beta run of the program, I'm only going to offer it to our fellow genies in the Organise Your Genealogy group and those on my email list.

The cost of the program is $97 USD (it won't be this price again) and it will start in early March.

I'm limiting it to 100 participants - but I'm happy to give your friends priority access.

So, if you have any friends who might like to join The Filing Project can you ask them to do just two things:

1. Join the Organise Your Genealogy FB group
2. Send me an email at hello@genealogyspace.com or PM me in Messenger

so I can offer them 'early bird' spots.
