Coach ,
Thank you to our "GA" Coach Trent Kaufmann as he closes out his run down of the pre season top 25 with his breakdown of Georgia Bulldogs and the insight gained from Stacy Searels C.O.O.L. Clinic presentation.

Season Preview Capsule
What is there to say more than the standard in Athens is turning into Championship or bust. Becoming the first team to repeat in the playoff era is an accomplishment of its own. But don’t blink, the expectations have now become to win the third in as many years. Stetson Bennett and a bevy of defenders have departed, appearing to make the path a little less clear. The Dawgs look to reload not rebuild and the battle for the new gunslinger between Beck and Vandagriff will be intense. Brock Bowers, Ladd McConkey and transfers Rara Thomas and Dominic Levett will be major reasons why whoever wins the job will find success.
But nevertheless the Bulldogs have hung their hat on the defense co-coordinated by Will Muschamp and Glenn Schumann. 2022 was supposed to be a year of building for this defense, they had other plans and finished the year as top 10 defense. With an even mesh of youth and experience as well as skill and power this defense is going to be a force in the 2023 season. Offensive coordinators are going to have major difficulty finding a lapse in this defense as they continue to progress and grow throughout the season.
What's it Take
To reach a championship level your team has to be made of a lot of characteristics. Coaches can scheme up the best plays known to man, in the end the players are the ones making it happen. See here how Coach Stacy Searels drives unmatched effort in his OL room to boost Georgia to back-to-back national championships.
C.O.O.L. Clinic: Effort the Georgia Way
More than a Drill
Throughout our practices and seasons the drill menu will get run up and down so many times your athletes should almost know what you are going to say before you say it.
Finding a way to utilize the drill for more than just repetition and communicating that can save both you and your players sanity. An easy way to rectify the situation is pace, a body that is constantly in motion is never bored. Listen to Coach Searels speak on the multiple functions of their drills here.

It All Matters
A great quote I heard the other day is “How you do anything is how you do everything”. I think taking this mantra to all elements of your practice and your being around your football team can do wonders. I can tell you after watching this clinic you will believe that the Georgia Bulldogs live this.

Effort
It’s something that can’t be taught and it's as infectious as you make it or allow it to be. Everything about this game is a grind,
I can say that half laughing as a GA. But, watching coach Searels talk about their guys getting the engine going on their own and seeing how they practice, that’ll put wind in any coaches' sails.
Effort is one of the most contagious items, how much is the entire staff putting in? How much are your seniors putting in? At the end of the day they will go as you go and as you allow them to go. I highly recommend checking out the National Champion Georgia Bulldogs effort in this course.
Strive to Succeed!
