We have two CoachesClinic.com programs with Statistical Top Performances so far in 2023. We'd like to recognize the players and coaches from those programs.

Madison Ridgeland Academy in Mississippi has the #8 Passer in the country in John White:

1519 yards passing

303.8 yards per game

He throws to the #39 Receiver in the country Case Thomas:

528 yards

20.31 yards per catch

6 touchdowns


Madison Ridgeland relies on a fast tempo with an Air Raid style of offense.  One Word Tempo is certainly part of the mix.  Head Coach Herbert Davis explains his “why” behind his concept of “calling the perfect play” in this free video:

They do an excellent job in building identity within their program and the units and position groups on their team.  Coach Weaver calls it creating an “exclusive membership mentality.” He explains how it is about leaving a legacy and making an impact. Everyone doesn’t get in the club, but if you do, you get in for life. He explains how they created their position group brand of “ARB” in this video:

Head Coach Larry Laird learned the empty offense long ago from Ohio coaching legend Mike Mauk.  Coach Laird installed the empty offense at Medina in Northeast Ohio and it’s brought his program to be a perennial playoff contender.
