Talking to coaches from around the country, it was the best clinic they have attended with the strongest line-up ever. Here are the highlights and a FREE course from the off-seasons biggest clinic. 


When coaches get together for a cause, you can be sure of one thing, they will deliver with passion. That’s exactly what happened when 153 coaches from the NFL and college level put their support behind Lauren’s First and Goal Foundation to benefit pediatric brain tumor research and cancer services. Sales of courses produced from the clinic continue to support LFG.

Transitioning into some highlights from offense, there was plenty of outstanding coaching on the RPO. In this video, MTSU Offensive Coordinator Brent Dearmon explains how they use a process of questions and answers by illustrating it with the Buck Sweep. It helps them fix what hurts the play.

Linebackers:

Defensive Backs

When it comes to a position that must be fundamentally sound or be exposed in a way that leads to big plays or touchdowns, defensive back development is of utmost importance. Villanova defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Ola Adams takes a detailed approach to teaching his DB’s to being fundamentally sound. He gives an overview of what he covers in his course in ball disruption, finishes, footwork matrix, and his indoctrination of man coverage:

The third phase of the game, special teams, was covered very well at the LFG Clinic.  


Special Teams Clinics:

Army Special Teams Coordinator Sean Saturnio, a Broyles Award nominee, treats the punt block team as the first offensive play in a series.  They focus on using techniques and execution that will put the offense in a position to score by winning the field position battle and shortening the field. He explains all of their objectives in this video:
