Did You Miss Me? Guess What

Dec 27, 2023 9:36 am

Hello,

I am sorry for my long silence, however, I am elated to break the ice and check on you before discussing any branding business.

It would be completely rude to just jump into your mailbox with 'news' after so many months! I apologize, life got in the way! I cannot promise that I will be back forever, but I can assure you that you will be hearing a lot from me (plus my team) in the next couple of weeks!

I could not let this month go by without saving you from the pressure of the 'new year, new me's' and their never-ending advice on what to do or not do as 2024 rolls in. Please, do not let anyone stress you!

For the past 3 or maybe 4 years, I have simply refused to believe that there is a new me! There is nothing like that, abeg!

I am personally not one for resolutions (I really do forget those commitments and go back to the things 'I rejected after the first quarter). However, I do see some value in the review section of those types of activities. I LOVE reviews! Those ones, eh? I can do them every month, week, and day if you let me. I find them really helpful, valuable, and way more sustainable.

As a recovering planner, I am also trying to unlearn pressure-inducing planning and am instead holding tight to my values, setting my intentions, and focusing on improving what I have started instead of jumping to the next big thing every year!

Anyway sha, the point of this letter is to share a tool I try to use every year, recommended by one of my faves. I like how reflective, creative, and straightforward it is... After 3 years of filling it out, it is safe to say that I have moved from quantity to quality, and I am just revising and trying to be a better version of myself daily.

It is free, and you can download it from here

Do me a favour and please put in some goals that are focused on impact there! You can start from your family, work, or community!

Warm regards,

Omodara Adediran,

Lead Communication Consultant,  Brandable Sketches.
