On the home front...

I spent two days this week assisting Mary Rogers (the other Aunt Mary...see the Foreword in Blooming Crazy Laughter) format and preparing her wonderful book, God's Magnificent Creatures: Lessons Learned from God's Backyard Creatures.

If you love animals...this book is for you. If you love nature...this book is for you. If you love Jesus...this book is for you. If you love laughter...this book is for you. This devotional book is full of stories and inspiration for everyone.

The release date has not been set, but it will be soon, so watch for updates about God's Magnificent Creatures!

Hurricane Aftermath

My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives in the hurricane this week. Many lost their homes, businesses, power, and much more as a result of this horrific storm as it came up the Gulf Coast and swept through the Carolinas. The storm did a great deal of damage across many states with its powerful winds and flooding.

The storm had so much force that we had wind gusts in Ohio yesterday. One of those gusts broke a huge limb off of the neighbor's tree. Unfortunately, the limb fell on his car and a piece of equipment he had parked in the driveway. No one was hurt...

What are your thoughts about weathering the storm?
