3 things saving my classroom right now

Good evening, teacher!
Weโve officially entered the weird part of the school year. ๐
Testing is over (or almost over), everyone is tired, the schedule is chaotic, and students somehow have both zero energy and unlimited energy at the same time.
So today I thought Iโd share 3 things helping me survive these last weeks of school:
โญ 1. Low-prep activities that still keep students focused
I donโt know about you, but Iโve reached the point where if something takes 45 minutes to prep, itโs simply not happening.
Lately Iโve been relying a lot on digital escape rooms and pixel art activities because students stay engaged without me having to reinvent math class every afternoon.
You can check out some favorites here:
๐ 2. A quick freebie for the โI need something NOWโ moments
Sometimes you just need a short activity that fills a class period without causing chaos.
So I wanted to re-share this free math activity in case you missed it:
6th Grade Math Spiral Review Pixel Art | End of Year Math Review Activity
Perfect for review days, sub plans, early finishers, or those mysterious 38-minute class periods that appear out of nowhere.
๐ 3. Activities that feel different from regular review
At this point in the year, even changing the format helps.
Thatโs honestly why the Around the World / Safari-style activities have been working so well lately โ students feel like theyโre doing something different, even while reviewing math skills.
You can explore them here:
Weโre almost there, teacher. Summer is close. โ๏ธ
