Hello Folks
Oxford Brookes Business School (one of the partners in the Carbon Monsters Project) would like invite you to a special evening event they are hosting on 12 May, highlighting the amazing action that small businesses are taking to become more environmentally sustainable.
With the nation’s 6 million small firms playing a key role in helping the UK reach its target of becoming net zero, Small Business Britain has launched a free sustainability skills course, in partnership with Oxford Brooks Business School and sustainability experts. This first course has been a fantastic success and over-subscribed (!) with 500 small businesses taking part and another course planned for September.
They would be delighted if you could join them on 12th May, 6pm at Oxford Brookes Business School to celebrate the launch of this programme and the small businesses who have taken part.
They are promising an evening of great food and drink, with surprises and inspirational special guests. There will be the chance to meet amazing small businesses that are on their journey to net zero as well as change-makers, experts, academics and policymakers leading in this area.
Please RSVP below, and do feel free to share with others that might be interested. In the spirit of sustainability, BBS will offset the miles for those travelling.
