The Thing That Changes When You Have Someone in Your Corner
Howdy ,
Yesterday, we talked about why successful people actively seek coaching. Today I want to share something deeper.
The clarity factor
There's something that happens when you have regular coaching conversations that's hard to describe until you experience it. Your thinking becomes clearer. Not just about the specific issues you're discussing, but about everything.
It's like having a thinking partner who helps you sort through the noise and focus on what really matters. Instead of spinning on problems, you start moving toward solutions. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by complexity, you begin seeing patterns and possibilities.
The confidence that comes from being heard
One of the most powerful aspects of coaching is having someone who listens to understand, not to fix or judge. When someone really hears what you're working through and asks thoughtful questions about it, something shifts inside you.
You start trusting your own thinking more. You become more confident in your ability to handle whatever comes up. Not because someone told you what to do, but because you've practiced thinking through complex situations with support.
The permission to think bigger
Many of us are so focused on solving immediate problems that we never give ourselves space to think about what we really want. Coaching creates that space. It gives you permission to explore possibilities you might not voice elsewhere.
What if that "impossible" career change isn't actually impossible? What if there's a way to restructure your role that serves both you and your organization better? What if the conflict you're avoiding could actually be resolved?
Your practice for today: Think about one challenge you've been wrestling with alone. What would it be like to have someone help you think through it systematically?
Here's to your continued growth,
Keep winning at work and in life.

If you're finding yourself curious about what this kind of thinking partnership might look like, I'm always happy to explore that conversation.
This month, I am opening 3 slots to The Workplace Multipliers Business School. This is where I work with a few committed professionals ready to level up their game at work.
