Where WERE you, ? (While others were defining YOU)

Howdy ,

Fellow Workplace Multiplier,

Yesterday, I introduced you to the most important foundation for showing up with a consistent brand. Your Values.

The problem with values is that most people never consciously determine their values.

I write a bit about this in my book, “Winning Beyond Borders: Achieving Success at Work in a New Country”.

Let me give you the cliff note version.

For most of us, we let our values be determined by:

1 - Culture around us.

2 - Experiences we go through.

3 - The choice of religious faith we embrace or are brought up under.

So, what’s the problem with this picture?

The problem is that you are letting external forces determine the values that will define your brand and the way people experience you.

Don’t let the bugs bite you before you wake up from slumberland.

Today, you wake up and make your choice of what your values will be

It's Time to Take Control

When you consciously define your values, you gain incredible power. Your decisions become clearer. Your actions become more consistent. And most importantly, you show up as the same person every day, in every situation. A Consistent Brand.

Think about it - when your values are clear, you no longer have to wonder how to respond in challenging situations. You know exactly who you are and what you stand for.

This isn't just about personal satisfaction. In the workplace, people who operate from clearly defined values become trusted advisors, respected leaders, and indispensable team members.

Why?

Because their colleagues know who to expect every time with them.

Your Next Step

Today, I want you to take 15 minutes to reflect on what truly matters to you. What principles do you want to guide your decisions and actions? What do you want to be known for?

Let's build something remarkable together,

You can win at work and in life.
