Here's the difference:
Activity: "We had 8 meetings this week."
Impact: "We cut turnaround time on client approvals by 20%."
Activity: "I updated the dashboard."
Impact: "Leadership now has real-time visibility into pipeline risk."
Activity: "We finished the Q4 review."
Impact: "We identified $340k in recoverable revenue."
The pattern: always answer "So what?"
What changed because of this work?
Who benefits?
What problem is smaller now?
This is how you make your wins visible without sounding like a braggart. You're not inflating your importance, you're translating what you did into what it accomplished.
