Your Team's Not The Problem - It's This

I recently heard a senior leader remark, "My team has all the talent in the world, but they're not delivering results."
My assessment of the situation from what I saw & heard?
The problem wasn't talent. It was the environment.
When you were an individual contributor, you probably found workarounds for every obstacle. You made things work despite the limitations.
But as a leader, your job isn't to work around limitations; it's to remove them for your team.
Here's the shift: Instead of being the person who overcomes obstacles, become the person who eliminates obstacles for others.
Sometimes you must be creative. But don’t stop doing that for your team.
Your action step: Identify one obstacle your team faces daily. This week, focus on removing it completely.
