The gap most high performers refuse to name
Howdy ,
Most career transitions don't fail because of risk.
They fail because of isolation.
I was speaking recently with a senior executive preparing for a major career transition. The kind that changes your calendar, your identity, your finances, and your definition of success.
He understood the risk. He was not afraid of failure. If something didn't work, he could pivot, learn, and keep moving.
But the real issue showed up when I asked:
"Who is your support system for this transition?"
That was the gap.
He had one mentor. And that was all.
One mentor is helpful. But one mentor is not a support system.
I see this pattern constantly — with executives, with leaders, with ambitious professionals who have built significant careers on capability and grit.
They have a roadmap. They have competence. They may even have one or two people they call occasionally for advice.
But occasional advice is not a support system.
A real support system is a network of people committed to your growth in the season you are entering.
People who hold you accountable.
People who sharpen your thinking.
People who help you see what you cannot see from inside your own life.
The higher you go, the more intentional that structure needs to be...not less.
Most people know the gap exists. What they haven't done is name it precisely enough to close it.
That is exactly what I built this for.
The Next-Level Support System Audit is a free five-question diagnostic I developed specifically for high-performing professionals stepping into a new level.
It takes three minutes.
At the end, you will see:
— Your specific support gap, named precisely
— What season you are navigating and how the gap is showing up in it
— Why it has stayed unaddressed
— What it is likely to cost you over the next twelve months
— And a single question designed to move you from insight to action
Your results are personalised to your five answers. No generic advice. No fluff.

If what surfaces feels like a conversation worth having, you will know what to do next.
Keep winning at work and in life.
