You're not slow. You're distracted.
Howdy ,
High performers don't complain about not having enough time.
They complain about not having enough uninterrupted time.
There's a difference.
You can work 12 hours and produce nothing memorable if those 12 hours are shattered into 47 fragments by Slack messages, email alerts, and "got a minute?" interruptions.
Deep work, the kind that changes your trajectory, requires depth. Not duration.
Here's what that looks like: 90 uninterrupted minutes beats 6 distracted hours. Every time.
Your action step for today: block one 90-minute window on your calendar. Mark it "Focus Block." Turn off Slack. Close email. Put your phone face down.
Then work on the ONE thing that actually moves your career forward.
You'll produce more in those 90 minutes than you did all last week.
I got this message from someone yesterday.
Good afternoon sir. Iām using this opportunity to thank you for your writings. I started implementing the one of blocking out 90 minutes of focused work and am amazed at how much I have been able to accomplish. I realize how much opportunities I have let slip away ignorantly. Thank you š
This works.
If you want help building the focus architecture that multiplies your impact without adding hours, reply "FOCUS" and let's talk.
As always, keep winning at work and in life.
