This may not look like a trust problem

Weak trust does not always look like distrust.

Sometimes it looks like:

- being copied on everything;

- people waiting for your approval;

- problems reaching you too late;

- a team that performs only when you push;

- decisions slowing when you travel;

- a successor who looks good on paper but cannot really carry the role;

- a career where results are strong but access has stopped expanding.

Those can appear to be separate problems.
