Behind the Curtain, Stress Signals, and YOU
Howdy ,
Did you read my email from yesterday?
If you didn’t, you should. And if you did, today will give you a little more peek behind the curtain experience.
The reason I wrote yesterday’s email is that it represents an essential aspect of my work with career professionals worldwide.
You must succeed at work and in life.
Work is one of those places that you have to bring most of who you are into.
Here's what most people don't realize: You spend roughly 8-10 hours a day at work. That's more waking hours than you spend with your family and friends, or pursuing personal interests.
If you're stressed, overwhelmed, or burnt out at work, it doesn't stay at work. It follows you home. It shows up in your relationships. It affects your health. It impacts your ability to be present for the people who matter most to you.
This is why I don't just focus on helping you climb the corporate ladder or negotiate better salaries (though we do that too). I focus on helping you build what I call sustainable excellence - the ability to deliver outstanding results while maintaining your well-being and living according to your values.
The Triple Win Method isn't just about winning at work - it's about winning in a way that enhances rather than depletes your life.
Yesterday, I shared my stress signals because I want you to know that even someone who teaches these principles still has to practice them. The difference is in the awareness and the tools to respond effectively.
When I noticed those signs, I didn't ignore them or power through indefinitely. I made adjustments. I am returning to my non-negotiables. I am permitting myself to be human while still maintaining my professional standards.
That's what I want for you too.
Your career should amplify your life, not consume it. Your success at work should give you more energy for the things that matter most to you, not leave you too drained to enjoy them.
If yesterday's email resonated with you - if you recognized yourself in those stress signals - know that you're not alone, and more importantly, you don't have to stay there.
Small shifts in how you approach your work can create massive changes in how you experience your life.
The goal isn't perfection. It's progress. It's building awareness. It's making conscious choices about how you show up both professionally and personally.
Keep winning at work and in life - but remember, true winning means you get to enjoy the victory.
