Science fiction and fantasy - from Middle America to the ends of the Universe

Hi ,

I hope the past few months have gone well for you. It's been a time of changes on my end. The new headshot above is just part of it. Here in Houston, a hurricane blew through last month and the city still hasn't picked up all the fallen branches. Luckily, that's the worst of it for us - our power flickered but never went out. We weren't even in town when it struck: we left on a driving vacation to the North Carolina coast a few days before, when the storm was tracking toward landfall near the Texas/Mexico border.

Though our house survived just fine, I got back home just in time for some other upheaval. Nothing serious, but an unpleasant surprise I'm still digging out of.

But enough bad news. There's been a lot of good stuff for my family and me, too. Road trips, vacations, summer camps for the kids. Speaking of summer and my kids, they go back to school next week. How did that happen?

If you had a newsworthy summer, drop me a line. I absolutely enjoy hearing from you. This job is solitary and it's always good to get a reminder from people on the other side of the page.

A new trilogy coming soon

Finally, I delighted to share the first promo graphic relating to this fall's big publishing project: a complete space opera trilogy! Publication dates two weeks apart from September 30 to October 28. Feel free to copy and share the graphic.
