Science fiction and fantasy - from Middle America to the ends of the Universe
Hi ,
The calendar says it's still winter, but around Houston, spring has definitely sprung. You can tell by the oak pollen piling up on cars and firing up everyone's allergies. One plus about pollen season, though, is you don't need one of those sequin mat thingies to check your golf swing....

Building up Momentum
Plenty of pieces moving into shape. I have four books queued up for publishing later this year.
First will be a multi-work collection which may feature a blurb or an introduction from Holly Lisle, award-winning author of dozens of fantasy, paranormal suspense, science fiction, and other novels.
Then, expected to publish in late summer and fall, a space opera trilogy about secrets and lies, corrupt politicians, and brave truth-tellers who bring them down. It's not the crime that gets you, it's the cover-up. (Any applicability to the upcoming presidential election is purely coincidental).
I've also added a new marketplace, Google Play. I'm rolling out books there on a slow but steady place. You can see what's now available at this page.
Featured at Kobo
I know a lot of you have read Take the Shilling (The Confederated Worlds, Book 1), but if you haven't, just a reminder that the ebook edition is free everywhere (including my direct sales website). Including on the front page of Kobo's Free First in Series page, now through March 15.
Even if you aren't a member of Kobo's ecosystem, if you have a friend who is who likes "military science fiction concentrating on the politics and psychology of societies in conflict," feel free to forward this email to them.
That's it for now. I'll be back in a couple of weeks, with some news about a discounted book.
Till next time,
Happy reading!
